Germany Berlin Film Festival Nymphomaniac Red Carpetl

Child actor and amateur plagiarist Shia Laboeuf was on top form at the Berlin Film Festival press conference for his latest movie, Lars Von Trier’s ‘Nymphomaniac’, storming out after about 10 minutes after facing one question about the amount of sex scenes – quoting Eric Cantona’s infamous “seagulls…” quip as he went on his merry way.

Manchester United legend Cantona has since admitted that he made up his speech on the fly, telling journalists “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much,” after being banned from football for eight months back in 1996 for kung-fu kicking a lippy Crystal Palace fan.

Labeouf, as is his copycat style, recited Cantona’s speech word-for-word…

Awww, the poor little cupcake. Labeouf later turned up for the premiere of the film wearing a paper bag over his head on which was daubed ‘I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE’. Bless his little cotton socks.

Anyway, Eric did it better…
