The Daily Mail are reporting this morning that Manchester United have signed Standard Liege’s young defender Marnick Vermijl.
Vermijl operates primarily as a right back, but is equally adept playing anywhere across the back line.
The 18 year old Belgian (who is yet to make a first team appearance for Liege) is set to join up with the United squad in time for the start of the 2010/11 season.
