Monaco Soccer Champions League Draw

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals has just taken place in and the results look like this…

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund

Paris St Germain vs Chelsea

Man Utd vs Bayern Munich

All ties are to be played on 1st/2nd April and 8th/9th April.

Woof! Truth be told, given the calibre of the teams involved, you’d be hard-pressed not to conjure up a few belters.

Pies’ predictions: United are probably about to receive one of the biggest kickings they’ve had in years, Real Madrid will dismantle the remainder of Dortmund’s threadbare squad over two legs, PSG will beat Chelsea in the first leg but still go out (Jose Mourinho have never been knocked out in the quarters) and Simeone’s Atletico Madrid will oust Barca by engaging in two of the most vicious, guerilla-style bloodbaths you’ve even seen.

You say?

Zlatan v Terry should be interesting.

Bayern will be under pressure as they are favorites, although Old Trafford is not the same as it used to be.IF United can keep a clean sheet at home, then there is a chance.Stranger things can happen.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will go through, but I’ll back PSG to beat Chelsea.

And Barcelona to beat Atletico Madrid, probably. Your scenario doesn’t sound that unlikely, though.

After two legs against Bayern, Man Utd will look like a fetal pig in the last week of a semester-long course on dissection.

    But not as pretty.
