Manchester United 4-0 Norwich City – Premier League – 26th April 2014
Manchester United caretaker boss Ryan Giggs oversaw a comfortable 4-0 win for the Red Devils on Saturday, although the lack of quality of the opposition means that not too much should be read into the result.
The Canaries put on adecent first-half display, only for a Wayne Rooney spot-kick to finally open the floodgates for the hosts just before the break. Another strike from Rooney in the second half followed by a brace from sub Juan Mata secured a satisfactory debut win for Giggs while Norwich boss Neil Adams now sees his struggling side just a point above the drop-zone with games against Chelsea and Arsenal to come.
