Rooney’s United debut, vs Fenerbahce at Old Trafford. Not three bad:
That happened on 28 September 2004, exactly six years ago. Today Rooney stayed in England as United travelled to Spain to play Valencia in the same competition. Whether he has an injury or he has been dropped is unclear, though United’s official line is the former.
