Pretty shady stuff from MARCA here, with the staunchly pro-Real Madrid paper allegedly doctoring photos of the record 109,318 crowd that turned up to watch last night’s pre-season friendly between Los Blancos and Manchester United in Michigan to make it look like more Madrid fans were in attendance.

As can be seen in these two comparison images, MARCA appear to have “whitened” most, if not all of the shirts in the crowd to make it seem as if the majority of the supporters at The Big House were Madridistas…

    There it is, society encapsulated perfectly in one photo. Any show of defeat or weakness is deemed unacceptable. Madrid will win everything under the sun this season yet they still need to do this. Its small minded mentality and probably why the good players (and coaches) have had enough of la liga.

      Unfortunately, and sorry to burst your bubble, but shady business such as this is not limited to Marca, or even Spain in general. In order to survive, these editorials, no matter the country, continuously aim as far below the belt of society as possible, forcing their own made up reality on the rest of the world.

    Eh? It’s just media marketing. Was it the Sun who photoshopped the Sherwood Adebayor salute?

    Happens all the time, with everything, not just football.

    The good players have had enough of La Liga? Someone forgot to tell Suarez and Rodriguez that.

    @Kingsland101

    It’s still massively wrong, it’s basically propaganda however harmless it may be.
