‘The booing of the black players… paid off there…’ Don’t think that’s quite what the commentator meant, but I take his point. And I miss the days when they used to put a big R in the top corner to denote a replay.
Anyway, this is one of the greatest moments in West Brom history, back in the days when they had one of the best attacking teams in the land. Who scores five goals at Old Trafford anyway? The Baggies’ second goal is a thing of beauty; their overall play is a joy to watch. And what a fine player Laurie Cunningham looks.
