A likely third-place finish after spending £150million last summer may not seem like anything to celebrate, but on Tuesday night at the Manchester United Player of the Year awards, manager Louis van Gaal was in the mood for a party.
The (possibly) Real Madrid-bound David De Gea won the POTY gong after a fine season between the posts for United, but it was a very tipsy LVG who stole the show…
