Man Utd New-Boy Memphis Depay Named Best Young Player In Europe By France Football

Following hot on the heels of the Soccerex Index which named Raheem Sterling as the best young player in Europe, the much-respected France Football has published its very own list of the Top 50 young European talents.

Manchester City new-boy Sterling has to settle for third place in these rankings, with Manchester United’s Memphis Depay taking top spot ahead of PSG’s Brazilian defender Marquinhos.

In terms of Premier League players, along with Depay and Sterling, Kurt Zouma, Emre Can, Saido Berahino, Ross Barkley, John Stones, Luke Shaw, Adnan Januzaj and Jordan Ibe all make the cut. Although expect a few more on the list to end up in England by the close of the transfer window.

    remember when januzaj scored a couple of goals v sunderland and was the best player in the world? he’ll end up at Wigan in a few years

      What makes you say that? He recently signed a new contract and Will feature heavily this season by all accounts.

    I think Januzaj is great. But he needs to play week in, week out. That is why I think Di Maria shoul go. He’s good but he is not the United type. Too much ‘latino behaviour’.

    Van Gaal should play with Januzaj and Depay as wingers, Bastian and Herrera (or Carrick or Schneiderlin) in the middle with Mata behind Rooney.
    That would be very, very exciting.
