Despite being banished to the reserve team dressing room by Jose Mourinho, Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger showed his class on Sunday with a couple of Tweets backing his team-mates, who beat Bournemouth 3-1.

Mourino’s arguably harsh treatment prompted Schweinsteiger’s brother Tobias to Tweet “no respect” in response. However, despite the situation, the Man Utd outcast was still keen to support his team-mates, both before and after the game, with a couple of nice Tweets…

Fair dues to ‘Schweini’ who, still only 32, surely has a couple of good seasons left in him somewhere?

The inability to find a use for a player of that quality shows how poor and inflexible Mourino is as a manager.
