Jose Mourinho’s star-studded megabucks side suffered their third defeat in a row on Sunday, with the Red Devils deservedly beaten 3-1 by Watford at Vicarage Road.

At the final whistle, Hornets’ captain Troy Deeney was understandably delighted with the result and decided to perform his own version of Paul Pogba’s trademark dab dance.

Etienne Capuoe continued his incredibly potent start to the season by firing home with opening goal on 34 minutes. Although United were furious that Miguel Britos hadn’t been penalised for an apparent foul on Anthony Martial in the build-up to the goal.

The Red Devils did fight back and just after the hour-mark, another in-form player, Marcus Rashford, leveled the scores from close-range.

But rather than go on and win the game, United then conceded again, this time courtesy of a goal from sub Juan Zuniga with his first touch. Then, at the death, the hosts were awarded a spot-kick after Marouane Fellaini fouled Zuniga in the box, leaving Deeney to seal the victory.

After the game, Deeney cheekily pulled off a quick Pogba-esque dab in celebration…

Overall, United were disappointing throughout the game, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney struggling in attack and Pogba (despite a fine effort which hit the woodwork) far from his best.

Indeed, Mourinho’s star-studded side have no lost three games in a row, and look far from the finished article.

As for Watford boss Walter Mazzarri, who was once described by Mourinho as nothing more than a ‘hard-working donkey, the result, which sees the Hornets move up to ninth, will be rather sweet.
