A late goal from Anthony Martial gave Manchester United all three points against Tottenham on Saturday, in a tight heavyweight clash at Old Trafford.
The first-half was a turgid affair, with few chances for either side.
The Lilywhites missed the cutting edge of Harry Kane while Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford both struggled to make an impact.
However, the game came to life in the latter stages of the second-half, With Jose Mourinho replacing Rashford with Anthony Martial.
Dele Alli had a great chance to put the visitors ahead, only to fire wide from close-range after a fine chipped pass from Christian Eriksen.
Lukaku then hit the post with a powerful header as game opened up.
Then, on 81 minutes, Martial raced on to a Lukaku headed pass before firing past Hugo Lloris.
That goal would ultimately win the game for the Red Devils, who bounce back from last week’s shock defeat to Huddersfield.
It may have been another rather dull display from United, but Mourinho wasn’t bothered.
