After several months of fuss and impasse, it looks like Marouane Fellaini won’t be leaving Manchester United this summer after all.

According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws (HLN), who have been following the situation intently, Fellaini will shortly announce that he has agreed a new two-year contract to remain at Old Trafford despite seemingly having one for out of the door since March.

In an underwhelming, low budget sequel Antoine Griezmann’s little ‘La Decision’ stunt, Fellaini promised the world during a press conference on Tuesday that he’ll break his silence come 1st July…

Fellaini’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the month with Arsenal and AC Milan said to be interested in picking him up on a freebie.,

However, HLN are reporting today that the midfielder has had a “sudden turnaround” in negotiations and now intends to stay on at United by renewing his contract until 2020.

Which, we can only imagine, is a turn up for the books that will be greeted with warmth and civility across the board by the majority of United supporters.
