Manchester United found themselves 2-0 down after just 20 minutes away to Southampton on Saturday, only to eventually grab a share of the spoils via a first-half comeback.
Those comeback goals came courtesy of Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera, after Stuart Armstrong and then Cedric Soares had put Mark Hughes’s side 2-0 up.
Soares’ goal was a superbly struck free-kick, which sailed over the wall and into the back of David De Gea’s net.
That was certainly not was Scott McTominay was expecting, with the makeshift United centre-half deciding to kneel behind his own wall in a cunning, yet utterly misplaced attempt to thwart a cheeky daisy-cutter from Soares…
No doubt Tominay was channelling Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic.
Alas for the Scot, it all proved rather fruitless.
