HEROES
Benjani Mwaruwari Scoring the winning goal in the Manchester derby is not a bad debut in anyone’s books, even if you are only there for the money!
Phil Jagielka Put in an all action performance and scored the winning goal as Everton ground out a 1-0 win over Reading.
Manchester City fans After all the talk of disrespect and banning orders, the City fans observed the minute’s silence for the Munich victims immaculately.
[Plenty of heroes this week, by the way. Honourable mentions for John Carew and Craig Gordon]
VILLAINS
Sunderland woodwork Wigan deserved at least a point against the Black Cats, but the ball would not go into the net for them.
Manchester United players One of the most important and poignant fixtures of the season for United fans and the players didn’t really turn up.
Newcastle’s defence Didn’t give King Kev a sniff against Aston Villa as they self-destructed yet again.
