Do fans actually like having to shell out for one-off, special edition commemorative shirts? If I was a Chelsea or Man Utd fan, I certainly wouldn’t want to spend the best part of £40 on a shirt that looks almost exactly the same as the one I bought at the start of the season, bar some tiny writing and a Champions League logo.
Chelsea will wear next season’s home shirt, with old-school white collar – how can they get away with wearing a kit that has not even been launched yet? It’s all about the money, it seems.
