Reports in this morning’s tabloids are suggesting that Juventus are busy preparing January offers for not one but two of Manchester United’s current stable o’ strikers.

First up, the Mirror reckon Juve are putting together a £12 million bid with which they intend to test United’s resolve to hang on to Dimitar Berbatov, who seems to have regressed after a surprisingly dynamic start to the season.

Berbatov managed seven goals in his first six games, but currently finds himself in the midst of a nine-game fallow run and, as a result, failed to even make the bench for United’s win over Wigan on Saturday.

Secondly, after Brazilian-born forward Amauri buggered his knee up (apologies for the all the technical medical terminology) in training last week, Juve are seeking temporary cover and have targeted a loan move for United’s Guido Prince-in-residence Federico Macheda – with the club’s director Giuseppe Marotta rumoured to already be en route to Manchester for discussions over a potential move.

Could definitely see Macheda going on loan, Berba going nowhere though.

The Berba should move to Chelsea or just stay.

My life would be complete if he moved o Chelsea..

hands up if you bought Berbatov for your fantasy league after his hat-trick, and has lost you about a million points since then…

I had Berbatov from the start of the season in my fantasy league so I have fully reaped the rewards… I can possibly see Federico joining Juve on loan for the rest of the season but I doubt Fergie will sell Berbatov. If Berbatov is sold who will United purchase?

HANDS OFF MY KIKO!! BUT YOU CAN HAVE BERBA…

  6. Simone says:

Honestly Fergie has a bit of a striker dilemma on his hands with Rooney, Hernandez, Kiko, Berba, Diouf, and Welbeck (Can’t really count Owen as a possibility to start). Wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see Berbatov leave either in January or in the summer. He is an amazing talent, but at Old Trafford he is hot and cold. Would love to see him stay, but we’ve seen the current form of Hernandez and Welbeck who in my eyes can be future stars of the BPL. I’ll leave it up to fergie to sort this out.

I must have jinxed him or something because in FIFA 11 I moved him to Chelsea and made him captain. He(The Berba) scored 10 goals per game minimum.. That has been going on since September so when he started to score 10 goals in FIFA, his actual form went downhill O.O

Welllll Wellll… It’s February, bitchiz! Berba the top scorer of the EPL, Rooney with one memorable game for the past year and “ican’tremember” how much more. Your beloved Rooney has made a terrific last season but costed United an unbelievable sum of money for two successful penalty kicks and two goals against Villa and in the meantime cried and rolled on the floor like a little bitch for a better contract. As a Bulgarian – I love Berba, as a United supporter for over 15 years now, I think Rooney should have been sold during that epic baby mama drama and replaced with someone who will be loyal to the greatest football club in England. Since I saw him kissing the United logo in front of the Everton supporters I felt that this guy takes everything for granted and nothing for sacred. Now he’s biting his lips watching Berbatov destroying defences, in Real he will watch Cristiano do the same thing. Thank you Roo for last season’s epic moments…thank you even more for showing us that you and Tevez are the same type of ungrateful cNuts! It’s always better to know the facts than to fool yourself for years.
