Man Utd to sign Fernando Torres next summer?

Torres_fernando
There’s currently lots of talk in the papers on online that Atletico Madrid have agreed to sell star striker Fernando Torres to Man Utd next summer, for £26m. It’s been reported that Sir Alex Ferguson has agreed to make a down-payment of
£5million in a bid to beat Chelsea to the signing of the young Spaniard. Torres had a buy-out clause worth £41million in his contract but
Atletico have reportedly dropped the price because of United’s ‘show of
faith’ and his apparent wish to move to Old Trafford.

I hope United get him, if only to stop Chelski maintaining their monopoly on world-class players. Do you think he’d be a hit in the Premiership though? (If you haven’t seen much of Torres, here’s a clip of him in action: LINK)
