The Sun goes crazy today over the news that Wayne Rooney was caught smoking a cigarette on his honeymoon in Vegas. Gosh!
A drunk sub-editor fellow guest said of this shocking incident: “He (Rooney) is super-fit – you don’t expect to see him smoking. But he didn’t seem to have a care in the world.”
Michel Platini, Zinedine Zidane, Johan Cruyff and other world-class footballers have all enjoyed a good deal more than one crafty fag during their playing career, so we don’t see much wrong in Rooney having the odd tab on holiday. Although in the pool? Please.
