The match, a Uefa Cup Winner’s Cup first-round tie in 1963, was postponed because of poor visibility. Ah, those were the days.

  1. Jon-Jon says:

    Did anyone die?

  2. Ollie says:

Only four players and the ref.

  3. Anonymous says:

    I was there!
The game was v. Man Utd. Spurs won the 1st leg 2 – 0 when it was eventually played but lost the second leg 4 – 1.
It was during the 2nd leg that Dave Mackay broke his leg the first time (the second time was during a reserve match v. Shrewsbury at White Hart Lane and I was there again!).
