With John O’Shea on the verge of sealing a move to Sunderland, we thought it high-time to revisit his career highlights at Manchester United to date…

That is all.

  1. fafaf says:

Yeah but he nutmegged Luis Figo.

  2. Veej says:

LOL!!! The Figo Nutmeg was definately worth the only mention!
Its a shame he’s moving on, he was very comical when he used to come on and do just about jack shizzle!

  3. Chris says:

@Fred Tissue: Yeah, we know it’s a bit harsh – but any excuse to post that shot vs West Ham.

One of the very few times that football has had me in genuine, barrel-laughing hysterics!

  4. qwerty says:

how did such an average footballer amass so many premier league medals?

  5. poiuy says:

@qwerty ,the same way stevie G has a Champions league medal

  6. Mr. Angry says:

    should have stayed at manure

  7. hgo says:

fergie mad to sell him unless he has better replacement but he hasn’t, so thats the logic of this transfer for manchester. it pissed me off then i heard this news. he was good for us great man, fucking hell. and chris wright f*uck off you loser

  8. Fredmeister says:

I’m in shock. Mr dependable, once lobbed jens lehmann from 25 yards. Glorious.

  9. Peter says:

Didn’t he also score against Liverpool in the 90th minute a few years back? The only goal in a 1-0 win for Man U.

  10. Bruno says:

He also scored the first in a comeback against everton in wich united ‘won the title’

  11. Paul says:

Let’s be honest. Good defender! not great but not bad. Good! Good luck O’Shea!

  12. Fredmeister says:

@Peter totally. Right in front of the kop and everything. Hero.

  13. moondunce says:

Can’t stand for such cruelty towards Eire’s answer Philip Cocu. He may have been ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’ but there’s been plenty at OT who haven’t been remotely competent in their ‘best’ position

  14. Nick Wiper says:

haha cannot believe someone mentioned O’shea in the same BREATH as stevie g. lets face it hes a decent player and hes had his moments, certainly makes the most of his ability and done well to win his medals but as good as gerrard? f**k off!

  15. k9 says:

i think sheasy was a quality squad player, necessary for united to be what they are. versatile, pretty solid and happy being a bit-part player.

i have a feeling it’s gonna be the phil neville effect where he gets consistent first team football and suddenly spurs want him

  16. Montesquieu says:

Now I know why they sold him to Soonderland.
