Sir Alex Pulls Man Utd Team Coach Over, Invites Lucky Bulgarian Fans Aboard (Video)

By Chris Wright

As if proof were needed that Manchester United are very much on the charm offensive over in the US at moment, ahead of a training session in Seattle earlier this week, Sir Alex decided to pull the team coach over to let a group of Bulgarian fans (who had apparently been waiting in the rain to wave the coach on for seven-straight days) on board for a few autographs and a handful of United tat.

Safe to say that most of the players – Rafael and Fabio, we’re looking at you – weren’t quite so keen to look ethusiastic for the camera…

The spawny buggers!

    Haha, gotta love the guys casual ‘How ya doing Giggs?’

  2. Roger says:

    Diouf back of the bus with you

  3. Mark Bosnich says:

    obertan at around 1:44, just woke up and took his headphones off, nervous look on his face and thinking “have we been car-jacked!?”

  4. dc says:

    at least the da silvas smiled and shook their hands before looking back down at their gameboys. the rest of the team looked like they were interrupted in the middle of a funeral procession. and owen of all people should be thrilled to have fans.

  5. Steve says:

    Freddie Mac and Nani sharing i-pod headphones, old skool.

  6. engerland_supporter says:

    Spot on, dc. Truly shameful from the players. The very least they could do was smile a little bit. They were trying hard NOT to look up. Disgraceful. The Da Silvas were great, SAF was pure class, the technical staff as well…. the rest of the players total douches. Particularly Berbatov, who should be ashamed of treating people from his own country like that.

  7. Montesquieu says:

    If you were from Bulgaria, you’d be ashamed too. Hahaha, I kid. The class or lack thereof from Manchester United is not unreported.

  8. says:

    While the players may be pretty lame I think it’s cool that Sir Alex was like “yea, go on and get some autographs”

  9. Stewie says:

    Can’t blame the players – there are autograph sessions for this kind of thing…

    Berba looked ashamed as hell.

  10. dragan says:

    I can understand the guys are tired and also sign a ton load of autographs. But this kind of small thing and spreading support allover the world pays their salaries! They all looked chilled though, no1 was too bothered. nice of the bus to stop!

  11. jamie says:

    Is it just me, or is this a hugely contrived load of PR bullshit?

    I mean, really? REALLY? DOES NO ONE ELSE REALISE THIS WAS SET UP???????????????????????????

    AAARRRGHGHGHHHGHGHGHHHHHHHHH!!!! FUCK OFF UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Jimbo says:

    I think considering there’s little kids there, they should have been a bit more enthusiastic. Tired or not, they waited seven days, least they could do is force a smile.

    @Jamie, calm down mate you’ll give yourself a hernia. If it was a media stunt, the players would have been friendlier

  13. jamie says:

    @Jimbo

    It’s definitely set up, sorry.

  14. Anonymous says:

    @jamie – hahah you faggart.

  15. Jimbo says:

    It isn’t set up, mate. Simple as.

  16. Jamie says:

    @Jimbo

    No.

  17. Steve says:

    If it was a set up don’t you think they players would be a bit more pleasant??
