Maybe is LFC had him they wouldnt have lost to stoke and spurs. By the way, rooney missed 3 clear chances including a penalty.
As an LFC supporter all I can say is that Torres can never score another goal, and he will STILL have a more accomplished career than Carroll will ever have. Torres for 50M, people can explain, but Carroll for 35M is completely baffling.
Carroll wishes that he could get the ball that close to the net just to miss it.
Come on, he was quality though. That miss aside, his movement was excellent. I can stands Chelsea, but Torres broke the Utd. defence several times, great pieces of skill, one fantastic finish and this woeful bit of misfortune.
Having a £50 million tag hanging over you can’t be easy.
But £100k a week should adequately off-set that, really.

It says it all that on any other day, the talking points probably would have been the number of other poor finishes – Ramires, Rooney, Berbatov, and Torres earlier – but somehow, Nand’oh managed to outdo them all. Briliant
