Leicester City boss has penned a new deal with the Premier League champions which sees him stay with the club until 2020.
Despite the question marks over his suitability for the Leicester job 12 months ago, the Italian oversaw an fairytale season for the Foxes in 2015/16, leading them to an unprecedented Premier League title.
While he had managed the likes of Juventus, Monaco, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, Ranieiri had yet to win a top-flight title as a coach before moving to Leicester but after last season, he has now transcended into legendary status.
The new four-year deal sees the 64 year-old commit to the Foxes for four more years with the club hoping to capitalise on last season’s incredible success.
However, with midfield lynchpin N’Golo Kanté already gone and Riyad Mahrez’s future at the club still in doubt, the new campaign could prove tricky for Ranieri and his team of champions.
