Watford have appointed Marco Silva as their new head coach, thus replacing Walter Mazzarri in the hot seat.
The Portuguese, who formally left his post at Hull City on Friday afternoon, has signed a two-year deal to take over at Vicarage Road.

Which, all in all, represents something of a coup for Watford, especially as Silva was being also tailed by Porto and Crystal Palace. Sound business.
Indeed, given his near-miracle salvage operation with Hull, Silva might just prove to be the difference between the Hornets staying in the league and finding themselves being flushed down the plughole next season.
