Leicester City have sacked manager Claude Puel in the wake of Saturday’s disastrous thumping at home against Crystal Palace.
The club are yet to make an official announcement, but it’s being widely reported that Puel has been relieved of his duties at the King Power.

With moral already dipping and fans becoming demoralised with Puel’s brand of pragmatic (read: boring) football, the Foxes went down 4-1 to Palace on their own turf – their sixth defeat in a dreary run of seven winless games.
Some may argue that generally the results were okay and that Puel had a mid-table side lodged comfortably in mid-table, but having only won four matches at home all season, it’s hardly surprising that the Frenchman has been given le elbow.
On, on, onto the next one…
