Watford’s already pretty extensive injury list grew by one today after Javi Gracia’s accursed team lost yet another vital member.
We are of course talking about Harry Hornet, who had the misfortune to suffer a broken arm during Watford’s penultimate match of the season.
Indeed, poor Harry slipped and fell while taking part in a penalty shootout at half-time of the 2-1 win over Newcastle last Saturday.
He has since tweeted to confirm the extent of his injuries…
A clear break in my arm, casted up for a couple of months. Many thanks to the staff of @WestHertsNHS for looking after me so promptly 😘 Believe I still scored the pen (get in) 😉 Congrats to @WFCTrust on a great day! 🐝⚽️💛 #communityclub #watfordfc #studsrequired #inpain

Ouch. At least poor Harry can take solace in the fact that he at least scored his spot-kick.
That counts for something, right?
