AFC Wimbledon have issued a rather bizarre ‘lost and found’ plea (or ‘flossed and found’ to use the club’s pun) after a set of false teeth were left in the stands by a supporter following Saturday’s League Two game against Exeter City at Kingsmeadow.
The Dons sent out the following Tweet earlier this morning:
These dentures were left in the stand on Saturday. Can the power of twitter reunite a supporter with their teeth? pic.twitter.com/rbRvdAKznA

Apparently, in conjuction with the club’s desperate search, Wimbledon supporters have also created the hashtag #BringTheChompsHome on Twitter at the behest of a local radio station in an effort to track down and reunite their gummy fan with his dentures.
The Surrey Comet newspaper have also told fans to call their newsdesk (020 8744 4244) should they happen to know who the pearly whites belong to.
