This week’s Premiership predictions

Saturday
Arsenal v Tottenham (12.45pm) The under-achieving neighbours play in the early kick-off. North London derbies are difficult to call at the best of the times. I think this one will end in a draw. 1:1
Blackburn v Fulham (3pm) Can’t see many goals in this unless Fulham’s defence relapse to last season’s away form. 0:0
Portsmouth v Aston Villa (3pm) I fancy Pompey to come from behind in this one. Gabriel Agbonlahor to score for Villa. 2:1
Reading v Bolton (3pm) At least one red card in this one. Bolton to sneak it. 0:1

This week’s Premiership predictions continued

Saturday continued
Sheffield United v Charlton (3pm) Arguably the biggest game of the day. United to get the fabled ‘six points.’ 2:1
Wigan v Liverpool (3pm) The Reds will win comfortably if they can score in the first half. 1:3
Middlesbrough v Manchester United
(5.15pm) Can’t see anything other than a United win. 0:2

Sunday
Everton v West Ham (4pm) Honours even at Goodison Park, methinks. 1:1

Monday
Manchester City v Watford (8pm) Something is telling me Watford might get an away win out of this one. 0:1
