THE VOTE Would you take a gamble on Ronaldo (no, the other one)?
AC Milan have completed the signing of Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a fee believed to be in the region of £5 million. The Italian club has taken a gamble on the 30-year-old who was criticised for his World Cup performances, which could be described at best as lethargic, and has been out of the Real side.

He’s a proven goal scorer. This season at Madrid he hasn’t played due to knee surgery and Capello’s team selection. If he can get fit, he will do fine.
He’s one of the all time greats. He will always score, no matter what league or how many extra pounds he’s carrying. No you wont get any tracking back but he can still shift them chubby legs in short, deadly bursts. The boy likes his food, leave him alone.
In today’s market 5 mil isnt that big a gamble on Ronaldo. I think its a dangerous trend of Milan’s though, buying 30 year olds who are a bit past it.
I’d have taken him at Watford. That was never really on the cards though.
