Barnsley v Birmingham 22-man brawl

Championship sides Barnsley and Birmingham can expect the postman to leave some fairly weighty packages from the FA over the next couple of days after a 22-man brawl erupted at the end of their Easter Monday fixture. Charges and disciplinary hearings are likely to be the order of the day after the scrap at Oakwell. Barnsley’s Bobby Hassell and Birmingham substitute Neil Danns both received red cards for their parts in the incident.
Managers Simon Davey and Steve Bruce had to enter the fray in an attempt to calm matters down, although Bruce failed to attract the right-handed hook which might have restored some symmetry to his nose! This grainy mobile footage is all I can find at the moment.
