Pies Vs Lawro: Premier League Predictions

By Chris Wright

Return of an old favourite here. Pies (i.e. me) will pit its wits against Beeb stalwart Mark Lawrenson in a scoreline prediction face-off for the ages!

Here are Lawro’s predictions (from the BBC Sport website)…

Birmingham 1 – 1 Arsenal
Chelsea 2 – 0 Aston Villa
(surprise, surprise)
Hull City 1 – 1 Fulham
Tottenham 2 – 0 Portsmouth
West Ham 2 – 1 Stoke City
Wolves 1 – 1 Everton
Bolton 1 – 2 Man Utd
Burnley 1 – 2 Blackburn

Liverpool 2 – 0 Sunderland
Man City 2 – 0 Wigan

And here are mine…

Birmingham 1 – 2 Arsenal
Chelsea 3 – 0 Aston Villa

Hull City 0 – 0 Fulham

Tottenham 4 – 1 Portsmouth
West Ham 0 – 2 Stoke City
Wolves 0 – 1 Everton
Bolton 2 – 4 Man Utd
Burnley 0 – 2 Blackburn
Liverpool 2 – 1 Sunderland
Man City 3 – 1 Wigan

Reckon you can do any better? In all fairness, it probably won’t be that hard!

Yours are more likely Chris, especially the Liverpool game, I reckon Sunderland will get something there and you can’t put any money on Burnley scoring another goal in the premier league.
