Chelsea Fix On Falcao

A rumour which has been rumbling on for a quite a while, Falcao’s move to Chelsea looks to be actually happening. According to the Star, the Colombian striker has agreed a move to Stamford Bridge with the deal set to be announced next week.

A magnificent striker in his prime, the Monaco man has a lot to prove after a dismal loan spell at Old Trafford. It’ll be interesting to see just what Jose Mourinho can get out of the 29-year-old next season.

Red Devils Splurge £30million On Anderson

With Falcao off, Manchester United are in need of some more attacking muscle, with Lazio’s Felipe Anderson in their sights according to the Telegraph. The attacking midfielder has enjoyed a superb season in Serie A, netting 10 goals in 32 games for the Biancocelesti, and would link up well with the likes of Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney.

The Brazilian has only recently signed a new deal with Lazio, but with the Red Devils ready to cough up £30million for the star, a deal could be on the cards.

Toffees Plan To Pick Up Poldi

Lukas Podolski’s selfie-filled time at Arsenal looks at an end, with the 125-cap German now on the radar of Everton. The Star tells us that Roberto Martinez is keen on the bringing the 30-year-old to Goodison Park as he looks to beef up the Toffees’ attack.

Poldi’s lack of mobility has seen him struggle in the Premier League, but with a jack-hammer of a left-foot, the former Bayern man could provide Everton with an extra cutting-edge ahead of next season.

Man Utd Set Sights On Cillesen

The Telegraph report that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Dutch ‘keeper Jasper Cillesen, if David De Gea does make his much-discussed move to Real Madrid. Louis van Gaal knows the Ajax glovesman well and sees the 26-year-old as the perfect replacement for De Gea.

Personally, I still think Victor Valdes deserves a chance as United’s number one.

Tim Wants Tom

Aston Villa are looking to snap up Hull midfielder Tom Huddlestone for £5million this summer. According to the Mirror, Tim Sherwood originally wanted to sign Jake Livermore from the Tigers. However, the midfielder’s drug controversy has meant that the Villa boss has switched his sights to another former Spurs man, in the burly shape of Huddlestone.

With Hull preparing for next season back in the Championship, a number of their star players are set to leave, and having worked extensively with Sherwood at Tottenham Huddlestone may well jump at the chance to stay in the top-tier with the Villans.
