DavidBeckham_224988.jpgOfficial FA spokesman erm… Thierry Henry has said that David Beckham’s Real Madrid form is worthy of an England recall. The Arsenal striker said: “I don’t want to say anything controversial, because to be the England manager is probably the hardest job in the country and you have to respect Steve McClaren’s choice. But maybe when David was playing for England, people took him for granted. As soon as he’s not playing people call for him to be recalled and that speaks volumes.”
Are you having that, Pies readers?

  1. JK says:

On current form he is worthy of a recall. Although it would be a backward step. Given that the MLS season doesnt tie in with the european season come September or the rest of the England games he is going to be lacking fitness and not be a realistic option after he leaves real madrid.
Now if our kit supplier was Addidas I am sure he would be a good marketing ploy for the Brazil game at Wembley

  2. Joe says:

At the very least have him on the bench, the guy can definitely still do a job.

  3. OmegaSupremeho says:

We need him, his delivery from set pieces alone could get us the hell outta dodge. The hero is only banished in disgrace so he can return in triumph. We need him for one last mission, hollywood style.
