owen%20england%20b%5B2%5D.jpgThe England B team taking on Albania tonight in the picturesque surroundings of Turf Moor, Burnley, are arguably the least talked about England side to take to the pitch for the last decade. The chosen few are:
Scott Carson, Phil Neville, Ledley King, Michael Dawson, Nicky Shorey, Aaron Lennon, Gareth Barry, Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley, Michael Owen (c), Alan Smith.
The game has been some what overshadowed by the Champions League final, but certainly the likes of Shorey and Bentley deserve the chance to impress after excellent seasons with their clubs.

I’d say the B team is better than most of the first team (Notice how I didn’t say ‘A Team’, as that would only confuse things, and I wouldn’t want to offend Mr T., as he is in fact better than everyone).
Lennon and Bentley are both infinitely better than SWP, as he’s become fat and rubbish whilst counting his money on the Chelski subs’ bench. Shorey also works harder than the entire back four of the first team combined.
Hopefully these boys will pan Albania 12-0 and show the overpaid wasters how to do it properly.

I’m glad young Phil Neville’s getting a run out. I haven’t made my mind up on him yet.

swp`s finish of the season was actually quite impressing

yeah swp’s got really fat…he must weigh upwards of seven stone nowadays.
    valid point.

    Sense of humour bypass, anyone?

Can anyone tell me why Ashley Cole isn’t in the squad v. Brazil & Estonia?

  7. Henry says:

The team that Steve MacLaren has put out to face Albania is extremely good.
However, I’m a bit disappointed that he never picked Luke Young and jermaine Pennant.
By the way, have you been on this site.

Hmmm… Jaaskelainen is criminally low compared to Howard and Niemi should be in there, but for the rest I don’t think that’s a bad list. Reina has had a far better season than VDS.

when you rate cech below vds then its stupid
