A three-time Premier League champion with Chelsea, much-travelled midfielder Joe Cole is currently playing his trade with Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League.
On Wednesday, the 34-year-old produced a bit of trademark magic during his side’s clash with title-chasers Indy Eleven.
Latching onto the ball outside the box after a set-piece, Cole let fly with an unstoppable humdinger of an effort which arrowed in the top corner of the Indy net…

Cole netted both ofTampa’s two goals in the game but unfortunately still ended up on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat.
However, the ex-West Ham and Liverpool star has been nominated for the NASL Golden Ball award for the most valuable player after a fine campaign.
