Everton close to Phil Jagielka deal

jagielka.JPGSheffield United midfielder/defender/goalkeeper Phil Jagielka is close to completing a £4 million switch to Everton. Confirmation from new manager Bryan Robson that Jagielka is set to leave the club comes days after sneaky Evertonians updated Jagielka’s Wikipedia page to make him a Toffee.
Robson said: “Keeping Phil looks like it’s going to be a problem. He’s told me he would rather stay in the Premiership, providing it’s the best thing for both him and the club. My job now looks like it’s going to be trying to ensure we get the best deal possible. That’s what I’ll be trying my best to do.” Jagielka was released by Everton as a youngster.
