Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off during LA Galaxy’s MLS clash with Montreal, after the Swedish superstar slapped an opponent in the head.

The incident happened in the first-half of the game at the Stade Saputo, after Michael Petrasso stood on Ibrahimovic’s foot.

Whether or not the Montreal defender meant it, Ibrahimovic wasn’t impressed, instantly walloping his opponent in the head.

As Petrasso fell to the ground, Ibrahimovic (embarrassingly) did the same.

After a VAR consultation, the former Manchester United man was rightly shown a red card.

You don’t mess with Zlatan!

Although the Swede really doesn’t have too much to complain about, does he?

Overall, Ibrahimovic has somewhat struggled since his move across the Atlantic.

Since netting a brace on his LA Galaxy debut at the end of March, the striker has scored just one goal as he continues to acclimatise to the MLS.

Still, at least he’s keeping himself in the news.
