Premier League Predictions: Birmingham City

BCFC.jpgPlayer of the season: Gary McSheffrey proved he had what it takes in The Championship and will be hoping to make the step up to the big league – although without a goal since February he needs a good start
One to watch: The young Dutchman, Daniel de Ridder, caused a stir during this year’s Under-21 Championship and has the pace to shake up Premier League defences
Player most likely to be booed: Hossam Ghaly won’t be wearing a blue shirt if he plays at St. Andrews but you can guarantee he’ll be on the receiving end of some abuse. The Egyptian agreed a contract before deeming himself too good for the Blues
Flop of the season: Oliver Kapo has been hawked around on loan to clubs with ever decreasing pedigrees since signing for Juventus – and the fact that none of them have kept him doesn’t bode well
Final league position: 17th. As long as fans don’t force him out, Steve Bruce’s leadership qualities should see them safe – but only just

    players most likely to be booed – all of Robbie Savage, Matthew Upson, and anyone wearing claret and blue. Can’t see Ghaly playing much of a part at Spurs.

    It was supposed to be the Birmingham player most likely to be booed but Ghaly crept in there as he nearly joined
