Like Tardelli’s eye-bulging, neck vein throbbing celebration in the ’82 World Cup, Pies once again celebrates a weekend of glory. Not only was it the first game of the season (which saw some disappointment for Pies writers), but it also saw Pies being top of the pile in the Guardian Guide’s Blog Roll listing of top footy blogs!
It’s not the first time we’ve been mentioned on their esteemed pages, but that shouldn’t stop us from crowing a little.
