But of all the things we’ve ever written about in a tongue-in-cheek tone, Ollie, I never expected a Pies backlash would be started in defence of Stan Collymore! You couldn’t make this stuff up…
To be honest, that video was alright, but has anyone actually read his column? It’s terrible. Poorly written, over enthused garbage. The other week he thought the Portsmouth Reading goal fest was bad for English football as it would produce poor defending from young children who would copy what they see on the TV. Utter rubbish.

I’ve read it since the start of the season,and its by far the best column in ANY of the papers.He talked about the folly of Rafa Benitez’s rotation policy from day one,as well as Moan United’s lack of a goalscorer before the season began.As for the Portsmouth v Reading game i think your comment is way to oversimplistic.If you think that was a great game,and it should be held up as an advert for the prem then you havent got a clue! Its actually nice to oread a column where there is some insightful comment rather than the same old blokes getting it wrong every week,or even worse,sites like this that have nothing to say except slag people off.I came on here to look at the liverpool pies section,but its a real loads of cods.Sorry but it is.
