GAME OF THE WEEK
Everton v Liverpool Lawro 1-1, Pies 1-1
Local hostilities will be resumed in this weekend’s biggest game – the Merseyside derby. It’s a shame that it’s come straight after an international break, which usually leaves players below par. Gerrard often makes the difference but he’ll still be mourning England’s loss so we have to agree with Lawro this time and yet another draw for title chasing Liverpool.

Saturday
Arsenal v Bolton Lawro 2-0. Pies 4-0
Time for Wenger to get his Bolton revenge while the club is a missing a manager
Blackburn v Reading Lawro 2-0, Pies 2-1
Blackburn’s home record is pretty good this season and they should keep that going even without the injured Santa Cruz
Fulham v Derby Lawro 1-1, Pies 3-2
With both teams at the bottom it’ll be a dogfight with Fulham possibly conceding almost as many as they score
Man City v Birmingham Lawro 2-0, Pies 3-0
With all the uncertainty around Steve Bruce, Birmingham should be there for the taking
Middlesbrough v Chelsea Lawro 0-2, Pies 1-1
Chelsea still haven’t really clicked under Avram Grant and there will be plenty of tired internationals playing for the Blues
Wigan v Portsmouth Lawro 1-1, Pies 1-1
Pompey have the greater goal scoring threat but don’t often do it away from home
Aston Villa v Man United Lawro 2-1, Pies 0-3
Villa hardly ever beat Man United and Fergie’s boys have started to score again
Sunday
West Ham v Sunderland Lawro 2-0, Pies 1-1
We think this one has bore score draw written all over it
Monday
Newcastle v Tottenham Lawro 1-1, Pies 2-1
