Having already qualified for Euro 2008, Germany’s match against Cyprus at the weekend was a case of running through the motions. They ran through the motions very well though with goals from Clemens Fritz, Miroslav Klose, Lukas Podolski and Thomas Hitzlsperger provided a 4-0 drubbing.
Klose then took time out to hurt Welsh national pride ahead of Deutschland’s final qualification match against Wales. He said: “Wales is a little bit weaker than Cyprus. I think the fans will see a few goals.”

Was Mad Jens Lehmann giving Germany fans the finger during the match? Some fans think this video proves the Arsenal keeper gestured at fans who called for local keeper Robert Enke to replace him in goals during the match in Hanover. Make your own minds up.
