Egypt’s Mohamad Zidan has the skills to pay the bills…

One of the players who really caught my eye at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations was Mohamad Zidan, of Egypt. He scored two fine goals against Cameroon in the group stages, and although he played less of a role in the knockout stages – it’s clear he is seen as something of a luxury player – I saw enough of his sublime skills to think that he could do well in England, especially as an impact substitute.
