Slavia Prague 1-2 Spurs A very respectable away win that could have been better, but for Radak Cerny’s howler in goal – bring back Paul Robinson, fickle fans cry! (Or just buy a decent keeper, for God’s sake). Spurs actually dominated the game for n hour, and went ahead through goals first-half goals by Dimi Berbatov and Robbie Keane. Cerny’s error let in David Strihavka to pull one back for the hosts on 69 minutes. That totally changed the game’s momentum, but Spurs hung on for a well-deserved win. Watch the highlights below:

The skinny on Aberdeen and Bolton’s games after the click…

Aberdeen 2-2 Bayern Munich Great credit to Aberdeen for holding the Uefa Cup favourites to a draw, even though the Germans were missing Marc van Bommel, Oliver Kahn and Franck Ribery. The Scots twice took the lead, but Munich pegged them back twice to escape without an embarrassing defeat. Highlights below:

Bolton Wanderers 1-0 Atletico Madrid A clean sheet and a solid win for Megson’s men. The close-foght game changed when Sergio Aguero was sent off for spitting on 74 minutes. Moments later El Hadji Diouf – the master spitter! – fired the winner from close range, to ensure a precious first-leg lead. Bolton fans will like what they saw from new signing Matty Taylor, who had several chances in the first half.
