In a week of low scores and red cards in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich moved four points clear at the top of table after their 1-1 draw with Hamburg. Ze Roberto cancelled out Ivica Olic’s opener to secure a point for Bayern. But the Bavarians missed their chance to open up a six-point gap after Werder Bremen’s defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eintracht’s Ioannis Amanatidis was the centre of attention. He was barged over by Werder’s Diego on 39 minutes in an incident for which the Brazilian was dismissed, and he scored the only goal of the game 11 minutes after the break.

Werder Bremen’s Diego is sent-off for barging Eintracht Frankfurt’s Ioannis Amanatidis. His side lost 1-0 and the little Brazilian is now suspended for three matches.

Mark van Bommel’s attitude gets him in trouble (shocking we know). Here he is getting himself sent off for showing the referee exactly what he thinks of him.
