_40376045_becks_pa203jpg_2Olly_1In his new weekly column on the BBC website (stroke of genius by the way, whoever arranged that!), Ian Holloway has been getting excited at the thought of David Beckham stripping for Dot Cotton in the Eastenders’ laundrette. Becks has agreed to spoof the classic Levi’s 501 advert for Children In Need. Olly’s thoughts on the matter:

"It should be great fun – can’t wait to see it on the box – and it’s for Children in Need as well, so that’s brilliant. I’d love to see her face when he takes off his clothes. She might have a stroke – if she can reach! She’s a bit of a hypochondriac, old Dot, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a funny turn. They’d better get Dr Legg on standby, just in case."

Sounds like Olly is a bit of a closet ‘Stenders fan. More HolloWatch next time Ian Holloway says or does something daft, which shouldn’t be too long!

    Hi Rob,
Glad you like the Ollie column, but I can assure you he’s the only genius involved! The hardest thing is trying to act like a professional and remember the next question when the great man has reduced you to a giggling wreck.
While we’re handing out the cigars, I’m a massive fan of WAATP and I’m sure Ollie will be chuffed to know he’s got his own page!
    Cheers,
    Chris
