Good weekend
Pardew10_1 Alan Pardew There is nothing like three points to get the critics of your back. A 2-1 win over Blackburn was West Ham’s first victory since the opening day.
Wayne Rooney Monkeys have been departing backs left, right and centre this weekend. A hat-trick for Wazza at Bolton ended his goal drought in style.
Liverpool The Reds gelled for the first time this season to end Villa’s unbeaten record.

Bad weekend
Damien_johnsonDamien Johnson The Birmingham captain fractured his jaw after an horrific challenge by West Brom’s Paul Robinson.
Newcastle Booed off the pitch after a 0-0 draw with rock-bottom Charlton. The Magpies are now fourth from bottom.
Norwich Were on the receiving end of a 5-0 drubbing by Stoke City.
