I am American, and I HATE Sports Illustrated's disjointed attempts cover world football. If anyone had the unfortunate experience of watching the world cup on American TV you know what I mean. ESPN and SI share a lack of aptitude toward the game that is blatently obvious to any real fan. ESPN had an announcer who normally covered baseball and had only done 7 football matches prior to the WC. Gary Lineker and Alan Hansen could not have been worse than that. As for the "Power Rankings" (wtf??) I would have to disagree with Lyon's positioning, as well as the omitting Madrid in favor of Sao Paulo?!?! Finally, the admonishing comment that Mourinho had "ditched" William Gallas and Chelsea were now falling apart as a result is galling to me. Gallas is a wantaway, JM and everyone else at Chelsea know how important he is, and nobody except Gallas himself wants him gone. There be other mistakes as well but I gave up on this article as its quite pathetic that this guy draws a salary for writing this rubbish.
