As a Pompey fan, I Liked him at pompey, but he’ll be much better at Spurs I imagine, back with mr Redknapp.
When Modric is back Niko may fall to the bench, but overall a good cheap singing for Spurs.

As a Pompey fan I appreciate his trickery and range of passing but he always frustrated me with how he was never willing to go on a selfish run on goal, which I am very sure he is capable of. He gets outmuscled a lot on the pitch and doesn’t move with the ball at all, so while I think he’s a great player, he doesn’t play to his strengths.

He’s a good versatile player who excels in an attacking minded team, and in a team with competition for the starting XI. Portsmouth were neither of that for a long while, but he should do well at Spurs.
Even if they are both playmakers, in the NT he is never used as cover for Luka (may have to for the next few games) but they’re both automatic starters, and complement each other.
He does have history with ?orluka but it wasn’t really a tiff – Charlie sang the song, the media picked it up. When they asked Niko about it, he said they already sorted it out, and he doesn’t hold it against him. That was the end of it. He does have mild temper so I guess it’s true.

As a Pompey fan, I have to say that he’s the only player of our mass exodus that I am not upset about losing. Has some skill but must be in the running for the slowest player in the Premier League.

He is an okay signing but no better than players we have already got. I am not sure of the logic of buying him and loaning them Jamie O Hara who can play there anyway. Dos Santos is a better option than either of them of course
